COUPLES COUNSELING

WEEKLY SESSIONS - ONGOING

50-minute couples sessions are available weekly and on Saturday mornings. Sessions occur as often as you feel they should, as you (the couple) are the experts in your own lives. You are welcome to join sessions from the same location or different locations at your convenience. Intensive sessions are available at self-pay rates of 90-120 minutes.

DIVORCE MEDIATION (SEPARATION OF ASSETS) & PRE-MARITAL COUNSELING

Additional services are available to support couples at every stage of their relationship. There are various issues that couples face that may require help at different stages of interaction/disagreement. I am happy to guide you through these.

How It Works

INITIAL SCREENING

These are essential to determine fit and are available via phone or video call to determine the best fit for all parties involved in the therapeutic relationship.

INTAKE + GOAL SETTING

The initial intake should occur within 7 days of the initial screening, and it will include prioritized goal setting to set the “game plan” for how therapy will proceed.

DOING THE WORK

Therapy is a relationship within itself where all parties involved are expected to do the work to see change happen that aligns with the goals that have been pre-established. These goals may change as therapy progresses.

I am passionate about helping individuals and couples achieve their goals through actual “real talk” and challenging you to face things you may have never considered in the past. I am ready to work with you to break through barriers that have led to emotional disconnection, instances of infidelity, heartbreak, and major life decisions that may involve more than just your partner- it could include complications with extended family and in-laws that have complicated your life in a way you never anticipated.

I utilize DBT, Brainspotting, and the Gottman Method to work collaboratively to see that every person who presents for therapy benefits from their investment of time.

  • I can expect to have completed my paperwork (yes, annoying, but once it is done, it is done), to discuss high-level issues without getting into too much detail, we will build an alliance where we strengthen connection, and establish buy in to this process.

  • There is no set amount of time for how long therapy can take. It is determined by your efforts, what is happening in your life, and how you progress through achieving your goals.
